Ann Lowe is a Senior Associate at Herren Associates responsible for leading a portfolio of client engagements focused on efficiency improvements and organizational effectiveness. A process improvement and change management specialist, Ann’s experience ranges from leading organizational redesign efforts at HUD to medical patient processing standardization at Army Medical Command. Ann’s most significant experience has been leading operational and organizational efficiency initiatives for the Department of Navy, including the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Unmanned Systems, and the NAVSEA Program Executive Offices for Ships, Integrated Warfare Systems, and Littoral Combat Ships. Her experience using systems thinking principles has helped key Navy acquisition and engineering programs prioritize investment portfolios, manage complex systems, and mitigate uncertainty.
Ann is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has completed graduate programs in organizational leadership and change management at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business and Yale’s School of Management. She was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Management Engineering with highest honors from Montana State University.
Although residing in the DC metro area for over a decade, Ann is a proud native of the Pacific Northwest and will always call it home. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and two small energetic yet adorable children.
